Have some Friday fun with the band FUN.
This song although it is already 5 months old I've only just got round to hearing it in the last couple of weeks but I'm glad I've finally heard it (better late than never).
Fun. seem to have a knack for writing a catch pop tune and they've followed up 'We are young' with another. Some Nights is one of those songs that will be stuck in your head for days on end with a piercing march like drum beat and guitar riffs that carry the sombre lyrics of loneliness and self-depreciation on an optimistic wave of popsounds.
The only down side of this song is the use of auto-tune towards the end, auto-tune that frankly isn't needed as highlighted in acoustic performances, Nate Reuss has a unique tone and clearly doesn't need any help with his vocals.
All in all a great catchy Pop song from the American 3-piece and one that would make a good soundtrack to anyone's Friday.
